How days are counted
The standard result counts the calendar-day distance between the dates. The same start and end date therefore returns zero. Selecting “Include the end date” adds one day. The tool also displays whole weeks and remaining days.
Calendar days, not working days
Weekends and public holidays are included. The calculation uses the dates as calendar values, so daylight-saving changes do not create fractional days. If the end date is before the start date, the page asks you to correct it.
